Yale University in New Haven seeks an Associate Analyst, Business Intelligence to develop dashboards and reporting solutions that illuminate fundraising results and alumni activities. You will ensure accuracy, consistency, and usability of BI resources across Alumni Affairs and Development.

Responsibilities include documenting requirements, prototyping solutions, collaborating with ITS for data warehouse changes, and supporting governance and training efforts across teams.

Formación

• Experience creating effective data visualizations/dashboards using Power BI and MS SQL Server data warehouse tables.
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and MS Office tools.
• Strong project management, organizational and communication skills with ability to handle multiple projects.

Responsabilidades

• Document BI requirements with business partners and process owners.
• Develop and maintain standard templates for documenting requirements and specifications.
• Develop prototypes and mock-ups to elicit and define requirements.
• Partner with ITS to evaluate BI solutions and tools.
• Create prototypes using BI tools to model requirements and validate solutions.
• Provide analytical support and ensure application functionality meets business needs.
• Develop test cases and participate in QA/testing processes.
• Assist deployment planning including training and user readiness.
• Support data stewardship and governance processes.
• Develop metrics to monitor data quality.
• Analyze and resolve data quality and reporting issues.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
