Job summary

LitFinancial is seeking an Associate Mortgage Banker to join our sales team in Troy, MI. You will be the first point of contact for prospective borrowers, handling high volumes of outbound calls, qualifying leads, and presenting mortgage options to move qualified prospects to Loan Officers.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, outcome-driven, with strong communication skills and a willingness to learn licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in customer service, call center or sales roles.
• Must have ability to pass the NMLS exam and obtain state and national licenses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct a high volume of outbound dials to new leads, returned inquiries, past clients, and referral sources.

• Engage prospective borrowers to understand their goals, gather preliminary information, and assess level of interest.

• Warm up and nurture leads through consistent follow-up, clear communication, and relationship building.

• Document and track all call notes, client interactions, and lead movement in the CRM and lead management systems.

• Maintain a positive, professional, and customer-focused tone throughout conversations.

• Collaborate with the Mortgage Banker team on lead strategy, pipeline priorities, and outreach campaigns.

• Qualify the client and send their account information to Loan Officers to process their application.

• Effectively communicate the benefits of our mortgage and products and services.

• Work collaboratively with Loan Officers to ensure a smooth handoff of qualified leads

• Meet or exceed daily and weekly call quotas and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

• Sales Experience: Customer service, call center or sales experience, with a demonstrated track record of consistently achieving and surpassing performance targets.

• Licensing Requirement: Must have the ability to pass the NMLS exam and fulfill mortgage requirements for obtaining both state and national licenses.

• Strong interest in the mortgage or financial services industry!

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly.

• Comfortable making high volumes of outbound calls and handling objections professionally.
