Job summary

LINX in Chantilly, VA is seeking an Associate Project Engineer for AV systems. You will own delegated scope and small projects end-to-end, with mentorship as you build toward full ownership.

You will document design intent, produce drawing packages, and support site walks and customer meetings. The role requires 2+ years in AV integration or related field, AutoCAD proficiency, and familiarity with Bluebeam.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in professional audio/video integration, drafting, or related field.
• AutoCAD proficiency and intermediate to advanced modeling skills.
• Experience with Bluebeam and creating markups.
• Solid understanding of AV system signal flow and design.
• Ability to read construction drawings and prepare AV shop drawings.

Responsibilities

• Own delegated scope and small projects; plan across multiple deliverables.
• Document design intent and produce AV shop drawings with growing independence.
• Generate RFIs and Change Orders as needed.
• Maintain redlines and as-builts in Bluebeam; follow LINX CAD standards.
• Perform site walks and support customer meetings.
• Collaborate with PMs, Production, Programming, Field, and Design Engineers.
