Job summary

LINX Multimedia in Chantilly, VA is looking for an Associate Audio Visual Project Engineer to own delegated project scope end-to-end with mentorship from senior Project Engineers. You will document design intent, produce drawing packages, and support cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Responsibilities include producing AV shop drawings, generating RFIs and Change Orders, and maintaining red lines while adhering to LINX standards.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in professional audio/video integration, drafting, or a construction-related field.
• AutoCAD proficiency; intermediate to advanced computer modeling skills.
• Experience with Bluebeam and the ability to create markups.
• Solid understanding of AV system signal flow and design.
• Ability to create AV shop drawings, including floor plans, RCPs, elevations, and one-line diagrams.
• Ability to read construction drawings.
• Familiarity with the RFI process.
• Able to manage multiple deliverables and set priorities to meet deadlines.

• Collaborate with PMs, Production, Programming, Field, and Design Engineers

Associate Audio Visual Project Engineer

Position Summary

FLSA Status: Exempt
