Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice law in the state with good standing.
• Experience with workers' compensation is required.
• Proficiency with Westlaw and other legal research tools.
• Strong writing skills with clear and concise drafting.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Prior experience in a law office setting is required.
• Trial experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of cases in Workers' Compensation.
• Draft legal documents including briefs, pleadings, motions, and legal summaries/evaluations/analysis.
• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
• Assist in managing case files, deadlines, and client communications.
• Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to the practice areas.
