Job summary

Quintairos, Prieto, Wood & Boyer, P.A. is seeking attorneys licensed in Missouri, Wisconsin, or Illinois with 3–10 years of workers’ compensation defense experience. The role focuses on defending various workers’ compensation claims and moving cases through the system while vigorously advocating for clients.

We seek individuals with analytical and research skills, strong written and oral communication, and a commitment to professional excellence in a national defense firm environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed to practice law in MO, WI or IL.
• 3–10 years of experience in workers’ compensation defense.
• Strong research and written/oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing and summarizing medical records to advocate for clients.
• Drafting motions and attending hearings to represent clients in court.
• Preparing clients for depositions and attending depositions as needed.
• Drafting reports and handling trial and appellate activity as required.
• Responding to discovery requests and drafting related motions.
• Regular court appearances to pursue favorable outcomes for clients.
• Taking and defending depositions of fact and expert witnesses.
