Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Minnesota.
• Two+ years of attorney experience.
• Knowledge of Minnesota Worker's Compensation Act and Rules.
• Familiarity with Minnesota and Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Experience with motion practice, discovery disputes, and trial preparation.
• Strong negotiation and persuasive skills.

Responsibilities

• Represent employers, insurers, and TPAs in workers' compensation claims.
• Defend employment-related claims in state and federal courts.
• Handle general civil litigation, including personal injury defense.
• Conduct research, investigation, and case analysis.
• Prepare pleadings and manage discovery processes.
• Analyze and summarize complex medical data.
• Collaborate with expert witnesses to present evidence.
• Prepare briefs and memoranda for motion, trial, and appeal.
• Provide clear reports to clients and stakeholders.
• Appear before courts and administrative bodies.
• Engage in mediation and arbitration.
• Participate in business development and client events.
