The ideal candidate has 2+ years of civil litigation experience and strong research, writing, and deposition skills.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• 2+ years of civil litigation experience preferred.
• Experience with defense litigation, professional liability, medical malpractice, or general liability matters strongly preferred.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Deposition experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil defense matters and complex litigation.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and briefs.
• Draft, file, and argue motions and other pleadings.
• Plan and manage multiple matters with competing deadlines.
• Coordinate discovery, depositions, and trial preparation.

The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of civil litigation experience and a strong interest in handling sophisticated defense matters involving professional liability, medical malpractice, automobile negligence, and general liability claims.
