Circle Surrogacy, part of the NorthStar Fertility family, seeks an Associate Attorney to support our legal team in providing services for intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors. You will draft contracts, review insurance agreements, and help establish legal parentage rights.

The role involves multi-party coordination with IVF clinics, external attorneys, social workers, and trust accountants while maintaining composure in a niche field of law.

Formación

• Experience in assisted reproductive technology or healthcare law is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure.
• Attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct legal research on ART-related topics and IP.
• Draft and negotiate contracts.
• Manage caseload from initial sign-on through delivery and post-placement.
• Coordinate with clinics, outside counsel, social workers, and program staff.
• Assist with insurance reviews and appeals as needed.
• Communicate clearly and build trust with clients and partners.
• Prioritize tasks and adapt to urgent matters.
• Utilize Microsoft Office and Salesforce CRM effectively.

We are seeking an Associate Attorney to play an integral role assisting our legal team in providing services for intended parents, surrogates, and egg donors throughout their journey. The position will allow person to draft contracts, review and analyze insurance contracts and policies, assist intended parents in establishing their legal parentage rights and learn and grow in an ever changing and niche field of law of assisted reproductive technology. Candidates should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and maintain a calm demeanor in stressful situations, critical thinking and problem -solving skills, and an interest and/or experience in the field.

• Legal research on topics related to assisted reproductive technology and legal issues impacting assisted reproductive technology and IP, surrogate, donor relationships. Proficiency in West Law preferred.
• Contract drafting and negotiating.
• Managing caseload of intended parents independently from initial client sign on through delivery of child and return home.
• Working directly with clients and third parties, such as IVF Clinics and outside attorneys, as well as Circle’s social workers, program coordinators, and trust accountants.
• Additional tasks as assigned, such as helping other teams with various projects, trainings, and helping with insurance reviews and appeals.
• Effective communicator who communicates information clearly and adept at building trusting relationships.
• to prioritize your day and pivot when urgent matters arise.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and Salesforce CRM
