Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney specializing in Intellectual Property to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will assist in providing comprehensive legal services related to patents, trademarks, and copyrights, ensuring the protection of our clients' intellectual property rights.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist clients in obtaining patents and trademarks by preparing and filing applications.
• Conduct thorough patent searches and analyses to evaluate the patentability of inventions.
• Draft and review legal documents related to intellectual property matters, including licensing agreements and non-disclosure agreements.
• Advise clients on intellectual property strategies and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Represent clients in proceedings before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) and other relevant bodies.
• Stay updated on developments in intellectual property law and contribute to the firm's knowledge base.
  
  

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to MA/RI state bar (either or, but preference for both)
• Experience or coursework in Intellectual Property Law, especially Patent Law.
• Strong analytical and research skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
