Jobot is partnering with a top-tier Jacksonville law firm to recruit an Associate Attorney for civil defense litigation. The role requires a J.D., active Florida Bar membership, and at least 2 years of practice, with focus on insurance defense, liability, product, premises, auto, and trucking cases.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing, with a minimum of 2 years of practice.
• Extensive experience in Civil Defense Litigation, especially Insurance Defense cases.
• Strong knowledge of liability, product, premises, auto, and trucking accident laws.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in civil defense litigation, including insurance defense, liability, product, premises, and auto claims.
• Conduct legal research and analyze various legal issues.
• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
• Attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties in the litigation process.
• Manage a caseload and meet deadlines.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients.
