6 Degrees Search is assisting a leading international law firm seeking a Junior-level Associate Attorney in Litigation for its Insurance Coverage Practice in Miami, FL. Hybrid work arrangement.

The candidate will handle complex coverage disputes, analyze policies, draft opinions, and participate in depositions, with strong emphasis on research and client-facing coverage recommendations.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic record.
• Law Review and/or Honors required.
• Active Florida Bar admission in good standing.
• 2 years of substantive litigation experience focusing on insurance coverage.
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
• Experience drafting litigation-related documents.
• Experience in depositions and mediations.

Our client, aleading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This growing practice handles complex, high-value coverage litigation and market conduct matters on behalf of both domestic and international insurers. The work includes commercial general liability, commercial property (including business interruption and environmental matters), errors and omissions claims involving attorneys, agents, and accountants, as well as directors' and officers' coverage.

Candidate Profile

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
• Law Review and/or Honors required
• Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
• 2 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage matters
• Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
• Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
• Demonstrated experience drafting litigation-related documents
• Experience participating in litigation proceedings, including depositions and mediations, among others
• Familiarity with some or all of the following: bad faith insurance claims, commercial general liability, commercial property, errors & omissions, and directors & officers
• Exceptional legal research and writing skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Compensation & Benefits

• Annual Salary: Expected annual base salary of $125,000 - $135,000 as determined by experience and market factors
