Job summary

Keystone Distinction Group in Miami, FL is seeking a junior-level Associate Attorney specializing in Insurance Coverage Litigation to join its Insurance Coverage Practice Group. Qualifications

  • JD from ABA-accredited law school with excellent academics.
  • Law Review and/or Honors required.
  • Active Florida bar admission in good standing.
  • 2 years of substantive litigation experience in insurance coverage.
  • Experience analyzing complex insurance policies.
  • Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations.
  • Experience drafting litigation documents and participating in depositions/mediations.
  • Strong research and writing skills; detail-oriented and organized.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze insurance policies and draft detailed coverage opinions.
  • Provide clear, actionable coverage recommendations for clients.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw, Lexis, and other tools.

Location: Miami, FL

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a skilled Litigation Associate Attorney to join its dynamic Insurance Coverage Practice Group. This growing practice handles complex, high-value coverage litigation and market conduct matters on behalf of both domestic and international insurers. The work includes commercial general liability, commercial property (including business interruption and environmental matters), errors & omissions claims involving attorneys, agents, and accountants, as well as directors' and officers' coverage.

Candidate Profile
  • JD from an ABA-accredited law school with an excellent academic record
    • Law Review and or Honors required
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing
  • 2 years of substantive litigation experience, with a focus on insurance coverage matters
  • Experience analyzing complex insurance policies
  • Ability to provide clear coverage recommendations
  • Demonstrated experience drafting litigation-related documents
  • Experience participating in litigation proceedings, including depositions and mediations, among others
  • Familiarity with some or all of the following: bad faith insurance claims, commercial general liability, commercial property, errors & omissions, and directors & officers
  • Exceptional legal research and writing skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team

Compensation & Benefits
  • Annual Salary: Expected annual base salary of $125,000-$135,000 as determined by experience and market factors
