True North Consultants, Inc. in San Francisco seeks an Associate Attorney to join its plaintiffs' litigation team focusing on whistleblower and consumer protection class actions in the Bay Area.

This is an opportunity to handle sophisticated matters and gain meaningful courtroom experience early. The successful candidate will manage substantive portions of complex litigation, draft pleadings, handle discovery, take depositions, work with experts, and prepare for trials, with five-day in-office

Qualifications

• Approximately 3–7 years of post-bar litigation experience.
• Strong writing, analytical and legal research skills.
• Experience with depositions, court appearances, complex discovery and ESI.
• Collaborative, intellectually curious and capable in a demanding litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage substantive portions of complex litigation from early case development through resolution.
• Draft complaints, motions and other significant pleadings.
• Handle written discovery and complex document/ESI matters.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Work with experts and participate in trial preparation.
• Appear in court and develop meaningful first- and second-chair litigation experience.
• Collaborate closely with senior trial attorneys and a strong professional support team.
