Job summary

Accounting Search seeks an Associate Attorney for its San Francisco Bay Area office to work on sophisticated plaintiffs' litigation matters. The role offers early courtroom exposure in whistleblower and consumer protection class actions on behalf of individuals and consumers against powerful defendants.

You will manage phases of complex litigation, draft pleadings, handle discovery and ESI, take depositions, and work with experts toward trial preparation.

Qualifications

• Approximately 3-7 years of post-bar litigation experience preferred.
• Strong writing, analytical and legal research skills.
• Experience with depositions, court appearances, complex discovery and ESI.
• Demonstrated desire to build a career as a litigator.
• Strong academic credentials and a stable employment history.
• Collaborative, intellectually curious and able to thrive in a demanding litigation environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage substantive portions of complex litigation from early case development through resolution.
• Draft complaints, motions and other significant pleadings.
• Handle written discovery and complex document/ESI matters.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Work with experts and participate in trial preparation.
• Appear in court and develop meaningful first- and second-chair litigation experience.
• Collaborate closely with senior trial attorneys and a strong professional support team.
