Associate Attorney - General Liability / Insurance Defense

Segal McCambridge, a national litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney for its General Liability / Insurance Defense practice group, including areas such as personal injury, recreation, venue liability, and professional liability. This role offers an excellent opportunity for attorneys to develop their litigation skills in a collegial environment. The successful candidate will handle a variety of matters with autonomy, while benefiting from team support, training, and mentorship from experienced partners. The position is hybrid, combining remote work with intermittent in-office attendance.

We seek candidates with:

• Active license to practice law in Pennsylvania; dual licensure in NJ, NY, or other jurisdictions is a plus.
• At least 3 years of experience in general liability and insurance defense litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, legal research, depositions, and client reporting.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to analyze complex legal issues and produce high-quality work.
• Proactive attitude and ownership of projects.
• Experience with mediations or arbitrations is desirable.
