Schneiderman & Sherman, P.C. seeks an Associate Attorney to join our team handling foreclosure, bankruptcy, and title matters. The role represents financial institution clients in loss mitigation and asset recovery while upholding professional standards and timely, compliant processes.

Ideal candidate is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a passion for exceptional client service. JD, active Ohio Bar in good standing required; familiarity with Ohio procedures is a plus.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Ohio State Bar license in good standing.
• Indiana or Kentucky bar is a plus.
• Experience in foreclosure, bankruptcy, title, or creditors' rights preferred.

Responsibilities

• Draft and prepare legal documents for court filing (FDCPA letters, notices, deeds).
• Represent client interests with strategic counsel to staff and clients.
• Conduct legal research using LexisNexis and Westlaw.
• Review court alerts and ensure timely compliance.
• Collaborate with attorneys, staff, and external vendors.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
