Oberman Law Firm seeks a motivated Attorney Associate to lead day-to-day business and corporate transactional matters. You will draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial agreements, conduct due diligence, and support partners on complex deals in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

This role emphasizes ownership from inception through closing, with mentorship, and a platform for growing your practice.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from ABA-accredited law school.
• Active Georgia bar license (or eligibility for admission/reciprocity).
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in business, corporate, or transactional law.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and legal research skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Serve as day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients and manage expectations, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Independently manage a caseload of business and corporate matters under partner supervision.
• Provide practical, business-oriented legal advice tailored to clients' industries.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships characterized by responsiveness and trust.
• Maintain organized case files, matter budgets, engagement letters, and billing records.
• Assist senior attorneys in preparing for client meetings, negotiations, and closings.
