Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum 2 years of Texas Family Law litigation experience.

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney specializing in Family Law in El Paso, TX. This role is ideal for a courtroom-ready advocate eager to focus on high-impact family law cases without the administrative burdens of solo practice.

Duties

• Lead high-impact family law cases from intake to final decree.


• Drive contested divorces, complex SAPCR cases, and protective orders.


• Represent clients in Harris County and surrounding courts.


• Conduct depositions, mediations, and First-Chair trials.


• Provide compassionate, results-driven counsel to clients.

Requirements

• Valid Texas bar license for a minimum of 2 years.


• At least 2 years of dedicated Texas Family Law litigation experience.


• Fearless courtroom presence and ability to manage a high-impact docket.


• Experience in family law hearings and estate/guardianship proceedings.


• Proficient in Clio, TxDoc, Google Suite, and modern e-filing systems.

Education

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Texas.
