Responsibilities include drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and research; managing depositions and court appearances; and maintaining strong client relationships while collaborating with partners and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in general commercial litigation.
• Admission to, and good standing with, the Connecticut Bar.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
• Excellent attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also being a collaborative team member.

Responsibilities

• Handle a broad range of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Manage discovery and participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and court appearances.
• Communicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, and other professionals.
• Assist with case strategy and work collaboratively with partners and other attorneys.
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
