Job summary

RumbergerKirk in Tampa seeks an Associate Attorney with 3–5 years of civil litigation experience, focusing on general liability, to join our team. You will handle meaningful responsibility, work directly with clients, and contribute to case strategy under seasoned mentors.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of civil litigation experience required.
• Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Florida.
• Experience in general liability, casualty, premises liability, product liability, or complex litigation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in all phases of civil litigation, from case inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, legal memoranda, and other litigation-related documents.
• Take and defend depositions, attend hearings and mediations, and assist with trial preparation.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Work directly with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
• Collaborate with supervising attorneys to develop litigation strategy and achieve successful outcomes.
