Job summary

Confidential Employer in Boston, MA is seeking a junior to mid-level litigation attorney to support partners on major civil matters from pleadings through trial preparation. You will draft pleadings and discovery, assist with case strategies, and participate in depositions while working with a collaborative team of seasoned attorneys.

The role offers exposure to product liability, toxic tort, and high-exposure civil litigation, with a hybrid schedule that combines in-office days and remote work

Qualifications

• 1+ years of product liability or personal injury experience, ideally in a law firm litigation department.
• Active Massachusetts bar admission required
• Rhode Island, Connecticut, or New Hampshire bar admission preferred
• Experience supporting civil litigation matters from pleadings through discovery required
• Product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, or complex litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, stay organized, and contribute in a fast paced litigation environment
• Professional, responsive, team oriented approach with strong attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Support partners and senior associates on major civil litigation matters from initial pleadings through discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, and trial
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, reports, and case related correspondence
• Assist with case strategy, factual investigation, legal research, document review, and witness preparation
• Manage discovery workflows, analyze records, and help develop key facts and themes for complex litigation matters
• Participate in depositions, hearings, court appearances, mediations, and trial preparation as experience allows
• Work on matters involving institutional clients, product liability, toxic tort, catastrophic injury, and other high exposure civil litigation
• Collaborate with a team that values strong writing, sharp analysis, responsiveness, and practical judgment
