CyberCoders, Inc. is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney in Los Angeles, CA, with 5+ years of experience to join its team in a hybrid or fully remote capacity.

You will focus on complex commercial disputes, breach of contract claims, and investor-related matters, representing businesses, owners and executives throughout all stages of litigation. The role offers hybrid/remote flexibility, a competitive compensation package, and a 1,550-hour annual billable target within a supportive firm

Qualifications

• Active California State Bar member in good standing.
• 5+ years of substantive commercial and business litigation experience.
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure, court rules, discovery requirements, and litigation practices.
• Experience handling breach of contract claims, business torts, and complex commercial matters.
• Ability to manage cases from initial assessment through settlement, arbitration, or trial.
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation and oral advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload involving complex commercial and business disputes.
• Represent businesses, owners, executives, shareholders, partners, and investors in litigation matters.
• Handle breach of contract claims, business torts, partnership and shareholder disputes, unfair competition claims, and related commercial matters.
• Develop litigation strategies aligned with each client's objectives.
• Draft complaints, answers, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and settlement documents.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients at hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.

An established firm based in Los Angeles, California, with over 30 years in practice is seeking a Business Litigation Attorney with 5+ years of experience to join its team in a hybrid or fully remote capacity. This position will focus on complex commercial disputes, breach of contract claims, partnership and shareholder disputes, business torts, unfair competition claims, and other business litigation matters, representing companies, business owners, executives, and investors throughout all stages of litigation.

Qualifications

• Active and in-good-standing membership with the California State Bar
• 5+ years of substantive commercial and business litigation experience
• Strong knowledge of California civil procedure, court rules, discovery requirements, and litigation practices
• Experience handling breach of contract claims, business torts, partnership disputes, shareholder disputes, and other complex commercial matters
• Ability to independently manage cases from initial assessment through settlement, arbitration, or trial
• Demonstrated experience drafting pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, legal memoranda, briefs, and settlement agreements
• Excellent legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to manage competing deadlines while delivering practical and responsive client service
• Deposition, mediation, arbitration, courtroom, and trial experience preferred
• Portable business welcomed but not required

• Communicate regularly with clients regarding case developments, litigation budgets, legal strategy, and resolution options
• Negotiate favorable settlements and pursue efficient, business-focused resolutions when appropriate
• Collaborate with partners, associates, paralegals, experts, and support professionals
• Maintain accurate time entries and meet the firm's 1,550 annual billable-hour requirement
