Avance Consulting is seeking a Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Civil Litigation practice in a fully remote role. This position targets candidates with 5+ years of civil litigation experience and admission to the Washington State Bar.

You will handle a range of matters including construction defects, real estate disputes, and business litigation, with opportunities for direct client interaction and mentorship.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington State Bar in good standing.
• Minimum 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters across construction defects, real estate, business, and complex disputes.

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join a growing regional civil litigation and business law firm. This fully remote opportunity offers hands‑on litigation work, direct client interaction, experienced mentorship, and long‑term professional growth in a collaborative legal environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle civil litigation matters involving construction defects, real estate disputes, business litigation, and complex civil disputes.
• Represent builders, developers, and other clients in litigation proceedings.
• Take and defend depositions and manage all phases of discovery.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and appear at court hearings and argue motions.
• Participate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and other dispute‑resolution proceedings.
• Manage cases independently while collaborating with attorneys, clients, and support staff.
• Conduct legal research and develop effective litigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
• Active Washington State Bar license in good standing.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.
• Hands‑on experience with discovery, depositions, motion practice, and court proceedings.
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in construction defect litigation.
• Background in real estate litigation, business disputes, or complex civil litigation.
• Experience representing builders, developers, or construction industry clients.
• Additional bar admission in California, Arizona, Nevada, or Texas is a plus.
