Permanent Placements LLC is representing a leading international law firm seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate (3–5 years) to join its Seattle office. This role offers exposure to sophisticated, high-stakes matters and direct client exposure within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities include representing clients in complex commercial litigation, assisting at all phases, and coordinating with senior litigators on state and federal matters.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar
• 3–5 years of complex business litigation experience
• Minimum of one year of litigation experience at a law firm
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent oral advocacy and communication abilities
• Experience managing sophisticated litigation matters
• Strong organizational and case-management skills
• Ability to work effectively both independently and within a collaborative team

Responsibilities

• Represent businesses and individuals in complex commercial litigation matters
• Assist with all phases of litigation: case assessment, strategy development, research, motion practice, discovery, depositions, trial prep, ADR
• Draft and argue substantive motions, briefs, and other court filings
• Manage large and sophisticated litigation matters and workstreams
• Coordinate with clients, experts, co-counsel, and internal teams
• Participate in mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
• Work closely with partners and senior litigators on local and national matters
• Develop practical, business-focused solutions for clients facing complex disputes

Our client, a leading international law firm, is seeking a mid-level Litigation Associate with 3-5 years of complex business litigation experience to join its Seattle office.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated, high-stakes litigation matters while collaborating closely with experienced litigators in a highly collegial and team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will gain meaningful responsibility, direct client exposure, and the opportunity to work on complex disputes at both the state and federal levels.

Compensation & Benefits
