We are on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Permanent Associate Attorney to join our prestigious law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, with a proven track record of successfully representing clients in complex legal disputes. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cases and make a significant impact within our firm and the legal industry at large.

Responsibilities

• Representing clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or prosecute defendants in commercial litigation.
• Preparing and drafting various legal documents, such as legal briefs, motions, pleadings, and discovery documents.
• Conducting legal research and analysis, applying the law to the facts of the case and presenting arguments and strategies for the case.
• Providing legal advice to clients regarding their rights and obligations under the law.
• Negotiating settlements of civil disputes in a manner that best protects the interests of the client.
• Supervising and mentoring junior attorneys and legal support staff.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of current laws, regulations, and industry trends that may affect our clients.
• Participating in business development activities such as networking and giving presentations to attract new clients.

Qualifications

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• A current license to practice law in the state.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in general liability litigation.
• Proven experience in representing clients in court and before government agencies.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of successful settlements.
• Strong legal research and analytical skills.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex legal strategies to clients and other parties in a clear and effective manner.
• High ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and balance multiple priorities effectively.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and supervise junior staff.
