Position Details

This is a fully remote role outside court appearances. Candidates must reside in Kansas and be admitted to practice law in Kansas.

This role involves no billable hours and is strictly a 40-hour workweek position.

The role involves broad responsibilities related to consumer protection law, including transactional and civil litigation matters.

You will manage litigation cases, resolve legal disputes, develop agreements, negotiate contracts, set claims, and advocate for clients in court.

Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients in Kansas
• Communicating with clients regarding their legal matters
• Drafting pleadings, motions, legal memoranda, and reviewing/drafting agreements
• Negotiating and communicating with opposing parties to settle claims
• Conducting legal research on contract law and other consumer law issues

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Kansas (multi-state admission is a plus)
