We are hiring an Attorney for our Health Care Practice Group. This position is open to remote candidates. Our firm has offices in nine locations, including Philadelphia and Pittsburgh.

Our clients seek guidance on regulatory compliance, government inquiries, business matters, litigation, hearings, and appeals. We work closely with them to anticipate issues and find solutions, assisting with governmental oversight, reimbursement, licensure, labor and employment, antitrust, governance, fraud and abuse, medical staff, privilege, physician-hospital disputes, and business transactions. We also provide counsel and representation in audits, investigations, confidentiality, privacy, security, and technology matters.

Responsibilities:

1. Advise clients on health care laws and concepts including, but not limited to, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA/HITECH, EMTALA, HCQIA/peer review, Medicare and Medicaid regulations, state licensing laws for health care facilities and professionals, and corporate practice of medicine.
2. Advise clients on all aspects of health care transactions.
3. Describe complex issues clearly and provide excellent client support.

Requirements:

1. 3-5+ years in health care law with a corporate or regulatory background.
2. Juris Doctor and admittance to the Pennsylvania Bar.
3. Admittance to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
