Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of civil litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
• Draft and argue motions, pleadings, and discovery responses in state and federal court
• Conduct and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
• Handle mediations, arbitrations, and settlement conferences
• Develop and execute litigation strategy consistent with client goals
• Provide coverage opinions and risk analysis for insurers and corporate clients
• Represent clients in trial and appellate proceedings as needed

Qualifications

• J.D. and licensed to practice in California (Nevada or Oregon a plus)
• Minimum 2 years of experience handling civil litigation matters
• Recent experience with any of the practice areas listed above
