Job summary

Cipriani & Werner P.C. is a multidisciplinary law firm seeking a seasoned litigator in New York with 6+ years of NY General Liability experience.

The role involves evaluating new files, client communications, and discovery production while handling pre- and post-trial motions and appeals in a hybrid work setting. Candidates should hold a NY-licensed JD and may have NJ bar eligibility; proficiency with ProLaw, Office 365, Excel, and e-doc management is preferred.

Qualifications

• JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and active NY license.
• 6+ years of NY General Liability litigation experience.
• NJ General Liability experience preferred; NY/NJ cross-border defense preferred.
• Experience in NY and NJ commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction and product liability; trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software.
• Self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management, organizational skills, and teamwork in a high-volume environment.

Position Requirements

• Must have a JD degree from an ABA-approved law school and maintain an active license in good standing in New York; admission to the New Jersey Bar is preferred.
• 6+ years of NY General Liability litigation experience required. NJ General Liability litigation experience preferred.
• Experience in both NY and NJ commercial motor vehicle defense, UM/UIM, premises liability, construction accident and product liability preferred. Trial experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, ProLaw, Excel, and e-document management software preferred.
• Must be a self-motivated independent thinker with excellent time management skills, strong organizational skills, and outstanding communication skills with the ability to work as a team member in a high-volume fast paced work environment.

This is a hybrid position.

The salary range for this position is $140,000-$180,000 and represents C&W's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range at the time of posting. Actual compensation will depend upon a number of factors, included but not limited to experience and qualifications.
