Qualifications

Probate & Elder Law Litigation Associate Attorney

This position offers meaningful client interaction and the opportunity to handle challenging probate and elder law matters, including contested proceedings. What You’ll Do

• Represent clients in probate, elder law, and related litigation matters
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal and factual issues
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, correspondence, and other legal documents
• Develop case strategies and assist with discovery, negotiation, mediation, settlement, hearings, and trial preparation
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients throughout their matters
• Manage deadlines, case files, and assigned matters in an organized and timely manner
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and other members of the firm
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and client service

What We’re Looking For

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Active license to practice law in Colorado and good standing with the Colorado Supreme Court
• Two to five years of legal experience preferred
• Probate, elder law, estate planning, or litigation experience is helpful but not required
• Strong legal research, analytical, and persuasive writing skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Sound professional judgment and careful attention to detail
• Ability to manage competing priorities and remain composed under pressure
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
• Proficiency with legal research platforms, case-management technology, and standard office software
• A genuine commitment to helping clients navigate complex and emotionally difficult circumstances
