The ideal candidate holds a JD from an accredited law school, state bar admission, and strong research and writing skills with proven independence in handling multiple cases concurrently.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited law school.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state where the position is located.
  • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and laws.
  • Proficient in legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases.

Responsibilities

  • Litigate civil cases from inception to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw and LexisNexis.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
  • Negotiate settlements and participate in ADR.
  • Prepare for and represent clients in court hearings and trials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop case strategies and provide legal advice.
  • Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation.
