Responsibilities

• Manage full-scope civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery.
• Prepare and negotiate transactional documents (contracts, consulting agreements, non-compete, shareholder purchase agreements).
• Draft formation and organizational documents for startups and emerging companies (operating agreements, governance materials).
• Participate in all phases of trial preparation, mediation, settlements, and appellate proceedings.
• Handle a diverse caseload involving commercial disputes, real estate matters, and corporate transactions.

Vestige Law is a rapidly growing boutique law firm providing high-quality legal services in commercial litigation, real estate, and corporate law. We are seeking a qualified Associate Attorney with 1 to 3 years of experience to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

• 1. Manage full-scope civil litigation matters, including drafting pleadings, motions, and conducting discovery (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission, depositions, etc.)
• 2. Prepare and negotiate transactional documents, including contracts, consulting agreements, non-compete agreements, and shareholder purchase agreements
• 3. Draft formation and organizational documents for startups and emerging companies, including operating agreements, partnership agreements, and related corporate governance materials
• 4. Participate in all phases of trial preparation, mediation, settlement negotiations, and appellate proceedings
• 5. Handle a diverse caseload involving commercial disputes, real estate matters, and corporate transactions

Qualifications

• 1. Licensed to practice law in Texas
• 2. Juris Doctor (JD) earned between 2023 and 2026
• 3. 1–3 years of relevant experience in civil litigation and transactional law
• 4. Demonstrated experience in discovery and motion practice
• 5. Strong interest in courtroom advocacy and trial
• 6. Excellent legal writing, analytical, and communication skills
• 7. Mature, professional demeanor with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

No portable business is required. The minimum annual billable requirement is 1,600 hours.
