The Advocates, a plaintiff-side personal injury firm in Colorado, seeks an attorney with 0-3 years of experience who will own cases and grow into a leading advocate.
You will manage a personal injury caseload, interview clients, evaluate liability and damages, develop strategy, take and defend depositions, negotiate with insurers and opposing counsel, and coordinate with medical providers and experts as you work closely with seasoned attorneys and a supportive team.
Our growing plaintiff-side personal injury firm is looking for an attorney with 0-3 years of experience who is ready to take on meaningful responsibility and build a long-term career. We are seeking someone who is driven, competitive, personable, and genuinely committed to achieving strong results for clients.
The position offers a $120,000 base salary, plus a performance-based bonus. The bonus consists of 5% of the attorney fees earned. We believe attorneys should have the opportunity to benefit from the results they achieve, and our compensation structure is designed to reward performance, initiative, and increased responsibility.
As an associate, you will have the opportunity to become actively involved in every stage of your cases. Your responsibilities will include managing a personal injury caseload, communicating with clients, evaluating liability and damages, developing case strategy, taking and defending depositions, negotiating with insurance companies and defense attorneys, and coordinating with medical providers, experts, and other professionals. You will work closely with experienced attorneys and a dedicated support team while gradually assuming greater responsibility as you develop your skills.
We are particularly interested in attorneys with 0-3 years of practice experience, ideally with some background in plaintiff’s personal injury work, who are admitted to practice in Colorado. The right candidate will be organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple matters at once. Just as importantly, you should be someone who takes ownership of your cases, communicates well with clients, and is willing to put in the work necessary to become an excellent advocate.
This role is a strong fit for someone who does not want to spend the early part of their career on the sidelines. You will have the opportunity to work on significant cases, develop practical litigation skills, learn from experienced lawyers, and take on substantial responsibility early in your career. We are looking for an attorney who is eager to improve, enjoys competition, and ultimately wants to become a highly capable plaintiff’s lawyer.
For the attorneys who have grown their careers with our firm, this opportunity has been transformative both professionally and financially. We are looking for someone who is prepared to make the same level of commitment and take full advantage of the opportunities available here.
We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well-being, and work-life balance:
