Job summary

WLPP Law in Colorado is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in corporate and/or real estate law, HOA/community association law, metropolitan district law, or related practice areas. The attorney will provide general counsel representation to community associations and work directly with clients in a collaborative environment.

The role requires excellent legal writing, analytical and communication skills, plus the ability to manage multiple matters independently

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide general counsel representation to community associations.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, governing documents, leases, amendments, and other legal instruments.
• Advise associations, community managers, and business clients on legal matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Attend board meetings, hearings, mediations, and court appearances as needed.
• Assist with covenant enforcement, collections, governance issues, and compliance matters.
• Manage client relationships and provide practical, business-oriented legal solutions.

For nearly 50 years, WLPP Law has represented homeowner associations, townhome owner associations and condominium owner associations throughout the State of Colorado.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2+ years of experience in corporate and/or real estate law, HOA/community association law, metropolitan district law, or a related practice area to join our established and growing law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney looking to expand their practice, work directly with clients, and play a meaningful role in a collaborative and collegial team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general counsel representation to community associations.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate and/or real estate law, HOA/community association law, metropolitan district law, or a closely related practice area.
• Strong legal writing, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters independently while working collaboratively with a team.
• Excellent client service and relationship building skills.
• Litigation experience is a plus but not required.
• Curiosity and a willingness to explore diverse matters.
• Willingness to be mentored and work in a collaborative environment.
• Superb interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding of and adherence to highest legal ethical standards.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
