Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks an experienced Immigration Attorney to provide legal advice and counsel on immigration matters before USCIS and EOIR. Responsibilities include researching laws, preparing visa matters, reviewing documents, and appearing in Immigration Court, in person or by video.

The ideal candidate has a JD, state bar admission, 3+ years of immigration or litigation experience, strong writing and research skills, and a GPA of 3.5+.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited university.
  • Admission to practice law in any U.S. state.
  • Minimum 3 years of litigation or immigration experience.
  • Immigration experience is a plus.
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and legal research skills; a writing sample may be requested.
  • Undergraduate and law school GPA of 3.5 or above.
  • Strong diligence, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Ability and willingness to regularly appear in Immigration Court, in person or by video.

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to provide legal advice and counsel in support of immigration matters before USCIS and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR).

Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and counsel regarding immigration matters before USCIS and EOIR.
  • Research and interpret existing laws and regulations, including anticipated changes, to guide informed decisions and reduce risk.
  • Prepare and review immigrant and non-immigrant visa matters.
  • Review and process incoming documents.
  • Regularly appear in Immigration Court, both in person and by video.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare necessary legal documents and filings.
  • Maintain strong organization and attention to detail while managing immigration matters.
  • Utilize Clio software, computers, scanners, and other office technology as needed.
