Title: Associate Attorney (Remote with travel required)

Location: North Carolina (or in SC near the border of NC)

Salary: $90,000 - 130,000, Annually Depending on Experience

This is a great opportunity for an Associate that is looking for a balance of litigation and transactional work in addition to the potential opportunity to enter a non-equity partnership track. We seek an Attorney that is an independent self-starter and does not require a lot of oversight. Requirements

• Must reside in North Carolina or close to the South Carolina / North Carolina border
• Must be able to come into the offices which are located in Lake Wylie and Rock Hill ~25% of the time on an as-needed basis to meet with clients and the team
• A degree from an ABA accredited law school and an active bar membership in NC
• 2+ years of litigation experience
• Tech-savvy and proficient in both Microsoft Office & Google Workspace
• An ability to travel 30% of the time within the state of North Carolina

Responsibilities

• Managing a probate caseload and timely filings, including contested probate cases
• Court appearances and supporting emotionally charged clients
• Attending client estate planning meetings and potential client consultations
• Reviewing estate planning documents

Bonus Experience

• An active bar membership in SC
• Probate and/or estate planning experience
• Experience with Wealth Counsel
• An existing book of business
