Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced attorney to join its consumer warranty litigation defense team. The role offers hybrid or remote work, a fast-paced practice, and mentorship in a supportive environment.

Expect responsibilities across motion practice, depositions, settlements, and trial prep with strong client service. Required California Bar license, 3+ years civil litigation, excellent writing and research skills, and the ability to work independently or with others.

Qualifications

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• 3+ years of civil litigation experience (consumer warranty experience is a plus but not required).
• Strong writing, research and communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop litigation skills within a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Draft motions, discovery, briefs and related legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in settlement discussions and prepare settlement agreements.
• Appear in court for hearings and law & motion.
• Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
• Perform legal research to support case development and motion work.
