Acara Solutions is seeking an Associate Assembler to perform mechanical, cable, harness, and PCB sub-assemblies in a shift-driven production setting. You will follow drawings and work instructions, install hardware, prep wires, perform testing, and maintain quality standards.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Experience with handling small delicate components is preferred.
  • Warehouse experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform assembly of mechanical, cable, harness, and PCB sub-assemblies per drawings and work instructions.
  • Carry out basic assembly tasks including hardware installation, wire prep, auto-bonding, sleeving, pull testing, and torque tool use.
  • Read production documents and ensure accurate assembly per routers and build instructions.
  • Inspect finished work, troubleshoot basics, verify tooling, and ensure quality standards.
  • Maintain a safe workplace by following safety procedures and PPE guidelines.
  • Contribute to Lean and 6S initiatives to support continuous improvement.
  • Support production goals and customer commitments in a collaborative environment.

Compensation

$22.00/hr + 15% shift differential for 3rd shift

Training Schedule

9x80 1st shift - 6:00am-3:30pm (every other Friday off)

Work Schedules

Sat-Wed 6:00pm - 6:00am, work every other Saturday 6:00pm - 6:00am
Wed-Sat 6:00pm - 6:00am, work every other Saturday 6:00pm - 6:00am

About the Opportunity

The Associate Assembler is responsible for performing assembly operations while ensuring products are built to quality, safety, and customer requirements. This role follows established work instructions and manufacturing documentation to support on-time delivery, continuous improvement initiatives, and a safe production environment.

What You'll Do
  • Perform assembly of mechanical, cable, harness, and printed circuit board sub-assemblies, as well as preparation, spray application, and inspection tasks using drawings, models, and work instructions.
  • Complete basic assembly operations, including hardware installation, wire preparation, auto-bonding, sleeving, pull testing, and torque tool operation.
  • Read and follow production documentation, including routers, parts lists, build instructions, and other manufacturing records to ensure accurate product assembly.
  • Inspect completed work, perform basic troubleshooting, verify tooling, and ensure products meet established quality standards and specifications.
  • Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety procedures, WHMIS requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives through participation in Lean events, 6S activities, and other team-based process improvement efforts.
