Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking an experienced Production Assembler in the semiconductor/industrial and medical product space to repair equipment by mechanical assembly and testing. This hands-on role follows drawings, schematics, and clear daily guidance.

The position runs Mon-Fri, 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with overtime during peak periods. An Associates degree in electronics and 10+ years of electro-mechanical assembly are preferred; SAP knowledge is a plus.

• Associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in electric/mechanical assembly.

Responsibilities

• Perform a range of production assembly operations on electronic components and sub‑assemblies
• Use drawings, schematics, and verbal/written instructions to complete high‑quality assembly work
• Identify and communicate nonconformities to support exceptional product quality
• Communicate openly and professionally with teammates and other departments
• Follow all required safety and ISO practices to maintain a safe, reliable work environment
• Maintain fixtures and perform routine preventive maintenance that keeps production running smoothly
• Assist in training team members on established processes
• Document work accurately and consistently
• Serve as a technical bridge between departments when needed
• Consider customer impact when making decisions and performing work

Job Requirements

What You'll Bring:

• Associates degree in electronics or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in electric/mechanical assembly

What Sets You Apart:

• Ability to read a schematic/print
• Ability to perform basic reading, writing, and math functions
• Strong and/or advanced soldering skills
• Basic electro‑mechanical skills
• Ability to identify components and interpret technical documentation and schematics
• Basic computer proficiency
• Basic Knowledge of SAP
• Previous experience in electrical circuits and assemblies testing preferred
• Proven ability and experience maintaining flexibility and being able to adapt in a team environment
• Background in electro‑mechanical work is beneficial
• Knowledge and understanding of ESD practices

• Repetitive motion tasks using modern electronic assembly tools and equipment
• Overtime may be required during peak production periods
