Job summary

Acara Solutions is hiring an Assembler in Palo Alto, CA to support the manufacturing department by building components and subassemblies from detailed drawings and work instructions. Precision, accuracy, and adherence to safety standards are essential as you work with welding processes and subassembly testing.

You’ll join a collaborative team in a role with direct impact on production schedules and quality, with opportunities for skill development and career growth within a global workforce

Qualifications

  • Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings.
  • Minimum 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Minimum 1 year MIG or TIG welding experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble components and subassemblies using drawings and work instructions.
  • Perform MIG/TIG welding and brazing to join components in production stages.
  • Assemble and leak-check subassemblies (stems and coolers).
  • Follow safety, quality, and process standards.
  • Work with assemblers, process engineers, and product engineers to meet production goals.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Support production schedules, including overtime when needed.

Job Title: Assembler

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Employment Type: Direct Hire

Industry: Manufacturing

Schedule: 1st shift, 40 hours /week

Compensation: $25 - 32/hour DOE

Job Requirements
What You’ll Bring
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
  • Minimum of 1-year MIG or TIG welding experience.
What Sets You Apart
  • Associate Degree.
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to use common hand tools.
  • Ability to work under a microscope for extended periods.
  • Willingness to support team objectives and production deadlines.
  • Ability to sit for approximately 80% of the workday.
  • Frequent use of a mandrel, including manual movement between workbench and welding equipment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and position tools and materials associated with assembly work.
  • Work may involve microscopes and fine-detail assembly
  • Occasional standing and walking within the work area.
  • Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements during welding preparation and operation.
