Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
  • 0-3 years of experience in applications or design engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Knowledge of grid modernization trends.
  • IEEE/IEC/CIGRE technical committees involvement is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret customer specifications to recommend surge arrester offerings.
  • Provide technical support to sales, marketing, and customers for product lines.
  • Prepare drawings, datasheets, and application notes.
  • Support product testing, validation, and troubleshooting with design/quality teams.
  • Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and training sessions.
  • Stay current with IEEE/IEC/ANSI standards and internal compliance.
  • Collaborate on new product development and enhancements.
