This position requires a detail-oriented professional who can analyze data, identify opportunities for improvement, and influence outcomes through strong partnership and collaboration.The Work ItselfRepresent Ally in communications with internal and external teamsSupport the Business Units in consistency, guidance and direction in matters concerning the interpretation and application of Ally policies, standards, business continuity planning, best practices and, tools and projects.Assist in conducting annual reviews for changes to business operations, structure, risk profile, personnel changes and geographical location in addition to continuous strategic updates to processes and procedures.On-site visits to suppliers as needed/requested by managementSupport the implementation of a formal Business Process Testing to ensure that specific objectives align with the requirements defined in the Ally Policy.Deliver continuous improvements year-over-year expense results and performance lift by improving processes and increasing productivity.Build solid peer-to-peer relationships in a team environment to meet operational needs.Communicate effectively and clearly on a daily, weekly, monthly basis with vendors to provide exceptional customer service regarding routine and escalated requests.Support rigorous quality, control and compliance programs to include an ongoing control/compliance self-assessment process.Perform data entry, system coding, inventory audits, reconciliations, etc. to ensure alignment between vendor systems and Ally systems.Responds promptly to vendor requests (information, data, letter generation, etc.) as needed.May review any compliance/cost issues related to supplierMay assist in developing/refining appropriate metrics to measure supplier performanceMay have to do supplier due diligence & terminationThe Qualifications We’re Looking For1+ year of experience managing third-party vendors and supplier relationshipsAbility to effectively contribute on complex assignments and assume increasingly greater leadership roles/ responsibilitiesIntermediate Microsoft excel skillsBasic understanding on how to utilize data analytical tools such as SQL, Python, R,Background in Remarketing and/or Late Stage Collections recommended but not requiredAdvanced oral and written communication skills sufficient to provide information, greet visitors, answer inquiries, and refer calls;Ability to maintain strict confidentialityDetail oriented with strong problem-solving skills; strong analytical skillsMust be an independent worker with strong time management skillsProject / Process Management framework knowledge and application is a preferredAbility to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in fast paced environmentAbility to exercise judgment to research and solve operational problems where the answer is not apparentMinimum Qualifications0+ years of experienceHigh school Diploma or GED equivalentHow We'll Have Your BackAlly's compensation program offers market-competitive base pay and pay-for-performance incentives (bonuses) based on achieving personal and company goals.
