Job summary

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is hiring for Airplane Electronic Engineers (Associate) to join the 787 Electronic Systems (Avionics, Integrated Modular Avionics, Network Systems, & Electrical Subsystems) team located in North Charleston, South Carolina.

As a member of the Electronic Systems team at BSC, you will develop and support these systems and their components in a sustaining production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical) or related field.
• 2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Develops and documents moderately complex electronic and electrical system requirements.
• Designs hardware, software and interface specifications.
• Tests and validates to ensure system designs meet operational and functional requirements.
• Assists in monitoring supplier performance to ensure system integration and compliance with requirements.
• Solves problems concerning fielded hardware and software over the entire product lifecycle.
• Researches specific technology advances for potential application to company business needs.
