Job summary

Deloitte is seeking an Associate Architect for our AI & Engineering team in the U.S. to drive modernization across large enterprises with production-grade architectures and cloud-native deployments.

You will lead design decisions, manage cross-functional teams, and deliver AI-enabled solutions using AWS/Azure/GCP, containers, and GenAI tooling. Strong Java/Python/.NET skills and on-site delivery are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related technical field.
• 4+ years as a Solution Architect focused on application development and scaling for production.
• 4+ years migrating/integrating on-prem to AWS with patterns for auth, middleware, data stores, event patterns, caching, telemetry.
• Hands-on technical liaison between business stakeholders and engineering for design and code review.
• Experience leading small on/offshore teams on large engagements.
• 1+ years delivering production-grade AI solutions (LLM, RAG, intelligent automation).
• 3+ years implementing CI/CD and DevSecOps with common tooling.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% nationally.

Responsibilities

• Architect and design enterprise-grade applications and platforms with production scalability.
• Support modernization efforts within a matrixed team environment.
• Design and deploy applications using Cloud Native principles on AWS/Azure/GCP and GenAI tooling.
• Manage client engagements, defining requirements, design, prototyping, testing, and training.
• Lead small teams in requirements, process design, prototyping, and deployment activities.
• Advise on architecture optimization, integration patterns, and data flows across systems.
• Collaborate with functional/testing teams to align requirements with architectural decisions.
