Job summary

97th Floor is seeking a motivated advertising strategist to partner with content marketers, designers, and directors to craft messages and select channels for target audiences.

You’ll learn quickly in a fast-paced environment, manage campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and more, and continually optimize based on data and testing. A strong analytical mind and clear communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred, not required.
• Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with multiple ad platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Build advertising strategies with the team by identifying the best messages and channels for the audience.
• Learn in a fast-paced environment, take direction, seek clarity, and turn information into action.
• Build and manage ad campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more.
• Conduct in-depth research to find ideal keywords and audiences to target.
• Achieve target advertising results through account monitoring, A/B testing, and strategy adjustments.
• Lead client communication to explain strategy, execution, and progress.
• Learn business models and bottom-line factors to inform strategy decisions.
• Keep knowledge updated on marketing trends, economics, business strategy, and platform updates.

What you’ll do:

• Build advertising strategies with your team’s content marketer, designer, and account director by identifying the best messages and channels for the audience.
• Learn in a fast-paced environment, taking direction, seeking clarity, and turning new information into action.
• Build and manage ad campaigns across platforms like Google, Meta, LinkedIn, Reddit, and more.
• Conduct in-depth research to find the ideal keywords and audiences to target.
• Achieve target advertising results through account monitoring, A/B testing, and collaborating with your team on how to adjust strategy.
• Learn how to diagnose campaign performance issues and use strong critical thinking to create action plans to course correct when goals are off target.
• Lead client communication for your work — communicate over calls what your strategy is, how you’re executing it, and what progress looks like.
• Learn business models and bottom-line factors for your clients, and make strategy decisions accordingly.
• Keep your strategic and technical knowledge updated by constantly learning about new marketing trends, economics, business strategy, and platform/channel updates.

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field (preferred, not required)
• Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets
• Strong analytical skills with extreme attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Outstanding troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-starter who is always trying to learn more in an ever-changing environment
• Experience with the following platforms is a plus: Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads, TikTok Ads, Pinterest Ads, Twitter Ads, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager
