Job summary

Conexus Food Solutions, based in Chicago, is seeking a detail‑oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to handle routine AP tasks in a fast‑paced warehousing and logistics environment.

You will perform 3‑way matching, process invoices, and coordinate with vendors and internal departments. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 0–2 years of experience; on‑site schedule is Monday–Friday, with a 8:30 am–5:30 pm shift.

Responsibilities

• Apply accounting principles and policies to AP duties.
• Reconcile bank accounts.
• Process accounts payable: match vendor invoice, bill of lading, and PO before entering the system and pay per terms.
• Participate in month-end closing by obtaining AP aging reports and related documents.
• Assist in gathering information for annual audits.
• File payments and perform final review of paperwork.
• Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

What You'll Do

Perform routine accounts payable tasks while adhering to established standards, such as 3-way matching, data entries, processing payment, and filing. Communication with Vendors and other departments to solve discrepancy issues.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

• Apply accounting principles, regulations, and policies to all work duties.
• Reconcile bank account
• Perform Accounts Payable functions: Match vendor invoice, bill of lading and purchasing order before entering the system and pay according to the terms of the vendors.
• Participate in part of the month -end closing by getting AP aging report and related documents.
• Assist in gathering necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Filing of payment and annual final review of all paperwork.
• Any other related duties as assigned by supervisor

Key Requirements:

• BachelorDegree in Accounting
• Working experience: 0- 2years
• Positive working attitude, patient, detail-oriented, and flexible
• Highly organized and willing to be a team player
• Must be able to read and write English
• Authorized to work in US

Preferred Requirements:

• Able to read and write in Chinese (not required)
