Job description

This is an entry-level position within the Account Analyst job family, aimed at developing a basic understanding of risk evaluation for new and renewal business.

This hybrid position requires employees residing within 50 miles of the following offices to work onsite twice a week:

• Plano, TX
• Boston, MA
• Suwanee, GA
• Orange, CA
• Chicago, IL
• New York, NY
• Walnut Creek, CA
• Warrenville, IL

Responsibilities include:

1. Gathering, organizing, and entering information into pricing models; performing initial analysis of exposure, loss, and coverage for underwriters.
2. Supporting underwriters and agents/brokers with responsive service through workflow management from clearance to policy issuance and documentation.
3. Coordinating service requests promptly.
4. Deconstructing submissions by identifying, gathering, and entering information into systems and models, flagging referral triggers, and managing internal service requests.
5. Ensuring accuracy of pricing and proposal information used in coverage review, hazard analysis, and pricing strategies.
6. Providing customer service to brokers and agents, addressing questions and resolving issues related to policy transactions, billing, and service needs.
7. Managing post-sale workflows, including billing initiation, policy issuance, and documentation.
8. Initiating pre-renewal communications when necessary.
9. Supporting underwriters with mid-term reviews, ongoing service, and endorsements.

Qualifications include:

• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, customer focus, attention to detail, communication skills, organization, adaptability, courtesy, dependability, and quick learning ability.
• Typically 2 or more years of related work experience.
• Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred.
