The University of Texas at Austin is seeking an Associate Academic Advisor to deliver holistic academic advising for undergraduate students pursuing Bridging Disciplines Programs (BDPs). The role supports curriculum planning, degree progress, and connecting experiences while collaborating with campus partners.
Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor's degree and experience in higher education advising, with strong communication and organizational skills.
The Associate Academic Advisor provides holistic academic advising and student support for undergraduate students pursuing one or more Bridging Disciplines Programs (BDPs). The advisor assists students from application through certificate completion by providing guidance on curriculum planning, Connecting Experiences (CEs), degree progress, registration, university policies, and academic success strategies.
The position also contributes to student engagement, recruitment, programming, outreach, and operational support for BDP initiatives while collaborating with faculty, colleges, and campus partners.
$49,800 + depending on qualifications
