Job summary

VICTOR RANE in New York is seeking an associate with three to six years’ hands-on experience to handle a civil litigation caseload, primarily in aviation. This role offers exposure to high-exposure matters and direct client contact.

Job description

We are looking to add an associate with three to six years’ hands‑on experience to work out of our New York office. The position will be to handle a caseload of civil litigation matters, primarily relating to aviation. The matters we are handle range from wrongful death claims arising out of aviation accidents to run‑of‑the‑mill tort/personal injury claims, along with some coverage work/litigation. Hands‑on experience litigating cases is a must. Aviation experience would be a bonus, as would coverage experience.

We are a small firm that prides itself on doing high‑level and high‑exposure work. If you want to be independent and grow as a lawyer, this job will give you that opportunity. You also will be exposed extensively to the clients and thus have the ability to develop relationships that could be very helpful in the future should this turn out to be something you wish to pursue long‑term, which of course is our hope.
